A lower end Sears brand washing machine, aka "Washy", 17 , of Texas died three mondays ago.
Washy was purchased in South Carolina in 1994 and was a dependable machine although a bit small.
Washy had simple features but knew how to clean a pair of pants. Washy was known for the annoyingly loud noises thundering through the house when spinning heavier clothing or guzzling water.
Washy was carted off in a private ceremony by some well coiffed delivery guys--final resting place unknown.
Washy is survived by "Toasty" the Dryer. Toasty is at a loss at Washy's recent demise but is being comforted by a younger, sleeker model.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations of laundry soap. (High Efficiency, please.)
