How to Decorate for the DIY'er Series

Beth, from the blog Homestories from A 2 Z is hosting a wonderful series called How to Decorate for the DIY'er.
Isn't she adorable? Here are two of my favorite pictures of her home.

Beth lives in the city so she has lovely exposed brick in her dining room.

I love that she used rain gutters as a book shelf around the perimeter of her boys' room. Such a cute and easy way to display books.

So, back to the series. Throughout the month of June, Beth has over 20 different bloggers participating. Each day a new blogger is featured and discusses a different aspect of decorating. It's been fun reading the posts from some of my favorite blogs as well as discovering new ones. I've already book marked a few tutorials I discovered (while perusing the different blogs) that I will use for later projects. I also enjoy seeing pictures from each of their homes--my favorite part!

One of the new blogs I discovered was Kristi's from Addicted 2 Decorating. She definitely has a creative streak! I love the piano color and plates she styled for one of her clients.
