Pot of Gold

Last March, making this Leprechaun's pot of gold was one of my first projects for my brand new blog.  I found a little brass pot at Goodwill and spray painted it black.  Such an easy project.  (I remember being so proud of myself.)  I also ended up using it as a cauldron for Halloween.  This year I was able to find some chocolate gold coins to add to the shiny (plastic) treasure inside.  (All I need now is a miniature man in a dapper green suit.)

Hope you have a lucky St. Patrick's Day.  Me?  I'm on my way to find myself a green milkshake.

  1. That is such a cute decoration. I would like to explore painting but I am hesitant because I have never done it. I will take the plunge someday. Enjoy your green milkshake!
