Inspiration

One of my favorite things about traipsing through blogland is all the wonderful inspiration you find. At the blog, A Creative Beginning I came across this gorgeous (homemade) mirror and beautiful fireplace surround.

Danika from Gorgeous Shiny Things handpainted this mural for a client. Her inspiration was a piece of fabric. The colors are beautiful and I love the mirror with it.

I never understood the appeal of the Union Jack dresser until I came across Inspired By You. Julie did a professional job of giving this dresser the royal treatment. Most Union Jack dressers tend to be distressed. I love how Julie kept the colors vibrant and added gold lion head pulls. Absolutely perfect.

Creative Jen from Life, Crafts and Whatever made everyone's favorite, Kitty Litter Poo cake. The perfect treat for wooing that special someone, making a good impression with your boss or meeting the inlaws for the first time. A visual delight!

Once I stifled the gag reflex I was excited to think who I could make this for. (Someone who wouldn't require three months of therapy.) It's hideously awesome! Main ingredients: yellow cake and tootsie rolls. It probably tastes yummy if you can get past the visual. Bring this to your next potluck for a guaranteed conversation starter. I need to make this cake for something. (Valentine's Day or teacher's gift?)

Well, I need to remove the last image from my mind. (Frolicking little ponies next to a magical castle usually does the trick!) Cake anyone?
