I'm STILL working on my nightstands.
I finally finished the teacher's gift.
I'm working on a tissue paper carnation bouquet for the winner of the giveaway.
I made some fabric flowers clips. (Helpful hint: Don't put too much glue on the center jewel or it will glob up around the sides and look ugly in the picture.)
I found this ornate frame at Goodwill for $3.99. I'm in the process of turning it into a chalkboard. (Yes, I'm making ANOTHER one. What can I say? Slight obsession?) I'll either give it away as a gift or keep it to up my chances for being featured on Hoarders...
Remember the one that got away? (Actually there were two nightstands but "Remember the Two that got away" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.)
I told a friend of mine about passing up a pair of Kent Coffey nightstands from the Perspecta line at Goodwill for $18. And then finding out that Kent Coffey nights stands were ranging in price from $600-$1,000 a pair on ebay. My friend happened to be near that Goodwill and decided to check to see if they were still there. Only one was there. Someone bought one of the nightstands. So my friend bought the remaining one for me. (She's so cool!)
What $3.99 for that frame?! So very jealous, you can never have enough of those chalkboard frames! That's great that you were able to get one of those nightstands.
