I'm an Awardee!

I recently received a sweet email from Jen at the blog, Domesticated Nomad. She informed me that I was one of seven bloggers she had awarded the Kreativ Blogger Award to. Yay, me! (I'm not quite sure what the Kreativ Blogger award is but I really like it! It's pink!) Thanks, Jen, you're awesome!

So apparently there are some rules to receiving this award:

1. Copy/paste the Kreativ Blogger Award picture onto your blog
2. Thank the person who awarded it to you and post a link to her/his blog
3. Write 7 things about yourself we do not know
4. Choose 7 other bloggers to award
5. Link to them
6. Notify your 7 bloggers of their award

Okay, 7 things people might not know about me (or might NOT want to know):

1) I was a guest on a children's t.v. show called Pleasant Journeys back when I was a wee one.
2) I've never been skiing.
3) I once won a $1,000 from a radio station.
4) There are a number of movies I'll watch just to see the home featured.
5) Someday I'm hoping to publish my YA novel about a girl who turns into a mermaid.
6) I don't like pop, soda or any other carbonated drink.
7) I'm on a first name basis with our city's librarians.

I would like to award the Kreativ Blogger Award to these deserving bloggers:

1) Korrie from Red Hen Home. She did a treatment on an old table called french chocolate that is divine. I absolutely love it! (I have to do it on something -everything-in my house.)

2) Lindsey from Better After. Hers was one of the first blogs I started to follow. It's just the good stuff--all befores and afters. Lindsey is incredibly witty and fun to read.

3) Julia from Hooked on Houses. Now, I've devoted a whole post on Hooked on Houses in the past. It's THAT good! It has everything to do with houses in the movies and on t.v. and as well as celebrity homes. Love this blog!

4) Lizzie from Pretty City Things. This is a blog I just discovered. Lizzie is a British gal living in an apartment in Chicago with her family. I really like her bedroom makeover and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the lamps! (I think when Lizzie's family goes on vacation I'll offer to babysit her lamps.)

5) Danika from Gorgeous Shiny Things. This gal has talent! She is starting up a business to make and sell fretwork--something that is sure to be the next big thing in blogland.

6) Shelli from a la mode. This is one of the newest blogs I've come across. Shelli has only been blogging a short time but already such a professional. She posts every day and her photography is beautiful--so is her home!
