What's For Sale Sunday (Austin, TX)

This Sunday finds us in the lively city of Austin, Texas.  The first of the three houses shown is this 3018 sq ft, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, two story home listed for $339,000.  I'm loving the balcony on the front of this traditional style home.
There is a concrete stained floor in the two story living room.

Stainless steel appliances and a kitchen island which wins the award for having the most corners.

(Um, not sure where this picture came from...)

There is a giant uncovered patio for the little tykes to ride their big wheels.
The best part of this house is the spacious backyard.  (Unless of course you own a non electric push mower.)

For some reason I didn't save a photo of the front of the second house.  (I remember it being very plain and unattractive anyway.)  So here is a teaser peek out the windows on the back of this 3 bedroom, 4 bath, 3006 sq ft home listed for $699,000.

Not too many cabinets in the kitchen but again with the amazing view.

This section of the home is my least favorite.  (I think it has something to do with the stairs.)

The master bathroom view is quite nice with all the beautiful windows.  (I'm just glad there are blinds on them.)
 Here's the money shot.

My favorite part of house number 2.  Beautiful pool, trees and gorgeous view.

House number 3 is a 7 bedroom, 12 bath, 15869 sq ft lakefront home on 4.06 acres.  It is listed for the paltry sum of  $9.9 million.

What everyone needs--his and hers staircases.

I would love a kitchen this big.  (And my own private cook, maid, gardener, butler, bodyguard, pool boy, personal trainer,  professional piano player and dog washer.)

The decor in this lavish dining room somehow reminds me of a frosted cake.  (And Marie Antoinette.)

I seriously think most of my house could fit into this master bedroom.

This is SOME master bathroom.  (I do think that I would be stubbing my toe repeatedly on the giant marble bench area in the center of the room though.)

Gorgeous closet with sitting area.  I'm slightly jealous.

There is a full sized guest house as well as a large pool in the back.

My favorite area of the house (except for maybe the master closet).  A negative edge pool with a backdrop of the lake.  An impressive home for sure.  The ENTIRE estate available is 10.4 acres for $13.3 million with an additional airplane hanger.  (So if 4.06 acres isn't big enough for you then thankfully you can buy 10.4)

So here is a recap of three homes for sale in the Austin area:

1) The mowing nightmare.

 2) Forgettable interior, Unforgettable exterior.

3) It's so big you ride the golf cart INSIDE the house.

Which is your favorite?

  2. The first house is actually in Dripping Springs. (Their lawns are so much bigger.)

  3. I was going to ask where the first one is too. We almost live in Dripping Springs. We are actually in the Dripping Springs ward...however, that is WAY too far away for me to live forever.
