Sweet Treat Storage

Sometimes you come across an idea that is so simple yet slightly brilliant at the same time that you wonder why you haven't thought of it before. This glass jar storing cupcake papers isn't only functional but adds some pretty decor in it's own right.  So simple.

I had a large glass jar that I found at Goodwill a few months ago.

And plenty of cupcake paraphernalia.  In the past I would just store it all in the cupboard in a more functional manner.  But now I wanted to try for the aesthetics.  Could I make this mess look beautiful?

I don't own a Silhouette or Cricut machine but I do have a friend who has her own vinyl business.  Crystal created the "sweets" label for me.  (I asked for it in silver but maybe I should have chosen it in black. It would have been more noticeable.)

I filled the jar with cupcake papers and it looked okay.  I still had a lot of room left.

I removed the papers and filled it with sprinkle containers instead.  I had so many more sprinkles that I was able to fill up the jar.

It's not quite as pretty as colorful cupcake papers.

But it works for me.  Cupcakes, anyone?
