What's For Sale Sunday (Pittsburgh, PA)

This week we're visiting the area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  All three homes featured are on the higher end of the price spectrum this time.  (Way out of my range.)  This "lower" priced 23 yr old home is all about the view.  Listed for $987,000 it boasts 5 bedrooms, 4 baths and a 4 car garage on 1.2 acres.

The kitchen is a little simpler in design.  I do love the double ovens, though.

A cozy living room with a lot of wood.  I'm really liking the stone fireplace and the windows in the eating area.

This is what you're buying the house for.

What a wonderful place to eat breakfast every morning and I bet it has the most spectacular view at night.

The second home is a little older at 84 yrs old.  It has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and is listed for $1,350,000.

I absolutely love the beautiful architecture.  Such a gorgeous home.

A very light filled living area.

The kitchen has somewhat of an odd shape to it.  (Although it has the space for a nice remodel if you're willing to shell out more $$$.)

This may appear to be a historic church upon first glance.

But this 115 yr old beauty has in fact been converted into three condos.  (When I hear the word, "condo" I immediately think of a tiny rental apartment near the beach somewhere in Florida.)   It is being listed as a 3 unit urban mansion.  The largest section is for sale for $1,500,000.   It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 26 stained glass windows and a 38 ft vaulted ceiling.

Such an impressive front door.  (The gate would be handy to keep out those people who are still under the impression that this building is a house of worship.  Can you imagine sitting in your pajamas eating a muffin and in walks someone off the street looking to confess his sins to Father Brown?)

This section looks like a regular loft apartment.  (With the exception of the anatomy bust in the corner...)

With the open view you can really tell that this used to be a church.

Notice the large balcony overlooking the living area.

The balcony was converted into a bedroom.

There are still reminders throughout the place of it's original roots.

The unit has been on the market since before Christmas.  The stained glass windows really give it a churchy vibe.

So for the recap which is your favorite?

1) Million dollar view?

2) Outside is better than the inside?

3)  Personal Confessional?
