30 Days of Gratitude (Day 27) Music.

 My life is surrounded by music.  Whether it's my 6th grader practicing his french horn, my husband attempting to teach himself a song on the ukulele, listening to the ipod, piano, stereo, CD player or car radio.  Various members of our family will spontaneously break out into song (or an awkward dance.)  And what we may lack in musical ability we more than make up for in exuberance.  It's such a thrill for me to hear someone who is truly gifted with a beautiful voice or killer piano skills.  And my city of Austin is known as the live music capital of the world.

So today I'm truly thankful for the gift of music.  It's energizing, soothing, exciting and moving.  Such an enjoyable part of my life.
