Welcome to our first ever Rockin' Pet Linky Party! Sharla from The House at Bluebird Lane and I are so excited to team up as pet party coordinators. This week is the 31st anniversary of National Pet Week and we are going to be celebrating all week long with pet projects, giveaways and of course, link ups of your special companions of the furry, feathered or scaly variety. (A special thanks to Hoss, Sharla's pup, who was our party pet model.)
The other four legged friend to share our home is our three year old cat, Lacey. (Although, most of the time, she is just called "Cat".) She has the fluffiest fur I've ever seen on a cat and also has diva-like tendencies. (Notice the "mustard stain" on her nose?) She was one of four kittens born to a stray mama cat who was rescued by my sister. In the photo above she looks as though she is giving the evil eye but was actually quite sleepy. Lacey insists on following me around the house even when she is ready for a nap since she is so nosey and doesn't want to miss out on any of the action.
So now it's time to introduce us to YOUR fabulous pets!
Please grab a Rockin' Pet Party button from the side bar to add to your post linking back to Charming Zebra so others can join the fun, too.
Bella and Lacey would love for you to follow Charming Zebra on Google Friend Connect.
Don't forget to visit The House at Bluebird Lane for more party fun!
Oooh, Bella and Lacey are sooo beautiful!... I found you all through Sharla, and my baby Tessy has linked up to party too!... xoxo Julie Marie and Tessy

Bella is a doll. I know what you mean about camera shy. Barney is, too. Once in a blue moon (like when he's focused on a squirrel), I can get a decent snap. On the other hand, my son's girlfriend has a Boston terrier who is such a ham, he's in your face if he thinks you might have a camera. Thanks for following. I'm following back.

Love the picture of Bella with the stick! She's not fooling me with her shy "act". :-) All her doggie cousins can't wait to have her come visit again! And of course pretty Miss Lacey, too. Have a fabulous day!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I missed the party. My Lana girl is a rescue too and would have loved to join in. Wanted to say Thank you for adopting Bella and Lacey into your family. Yay you! Rescues are very special to me. I work a lot with the Hawaiian Humane Society here; it's very rewarding. Following along now. :)
