Sock Monkey Giveaway Winner

 Thanks to all who entered the giveaway to win the sock monkey pet toy in celebration of National Pet Week.  (This little fellow is excited for his new home!)  And the winner is Susan from A Vintage Farmwife.  Congratulations to Susan and to her pup, Pearl!



 I snapped a few more photos while I was visiting my friend, Jennifer's farm last week.  The Texas Bluebonnets are all gone now but there were plenty of other beautiful wildflowers.

 An old barn on the adjoining farm.  All the cows and their calves were inside enjoying their midday siesta.
