It's days like today (when I was out walking my dog, Bella) where I renew my appreciation for nature. We struggled with so many days over 100 degrees this Texas summer that it was nice to feel the soft breeze and the temperatures in the 70's this morning on our walk. But a gentle breeze and some leafy trees don't hold a candle to the majesty of the ocean. When we were visiting the California coast last month it was absolutely wonderful to hear the crash of the ocean waves, smell the salty air and watch awe inspiring sunsets. (Mother Nature rocks!) Those who live there year round are fortunate indeed.
