Bathroom Inspiration

                                                                             via
At the beginning of the year, we're all motivated to begin new projects.  What better place to start than the bathroom?  It's a smaller room so you can really take the design to the next level.  You may go a little crazier in here than with the style in the rest of the house.

One of my favorite bathrooms is the one above.  Simple in design but extra blingy and luxe.  (The home owner obviously doesn't have to worry about sticky fingers or a slobbering dog face on that shiny, spotless tub.)

This smaller bath has a good use of natural elements.  There is also wonderful natural light which prevents the room from becoming too dark.  (It's a beautiful tub but I would use much caution when climbing over the rough edged rocks while wearing only my birthday suit.)

This spacious and soothing bathroom employs miles of tile and soft colors to evoke a day at the spa.  (You could probably fit a few sofas in here for lounging, too.)

Unique tile in traditional blue colors adds some personality and interest.

For those who like to make a statement (or are just lovers of wine) you can add unusual elements like this wine barrel tub to make your room one of a kind.

So whether your bathroom needs a major overhaul or just a little freshening up, you can create a functional yet visually appealing space.  Updating the look can be as simple as changing the towels and trying a new paint color on the wall or hanging some classic or funky art.  It's your opportunity to flex your design muscle and maybe try out a new style that's different from the rest of your home.

So what do you say?  What big plans do you have for YOUR bathroom?
Tangerine, anyone?

  1. Wow, these bathrooms are amazing! Every time I scrolled down, I thought, "I want that one...no, I want that one!" If my bathroom looked like any of these, I'd probably never leave it.

  2. I love the mirror in the first one. My bathroom is very humble in comparison to these.
