This mirror gallery wall is one of the things I worked on yesterday. It needs a few more mirrors and a little tweaking in placement but I decided to show it in it's unfinished state. (In honor of posting the "process" instead of just waiting for a perfect time-consuming project to be finished.) The mirrors have been collected over the past year from various sources. The only one I paid full price for was the gold starburst mirror on the bottom left. It was $35 at Home Depot from their Martha Stewart line. (She has a number of pretty mirrors at decent prices.)
Just keeping it real now. Here is what the full room currently looks like. It's a temporary storage area for a number of items that will be used at a Garden Party for our Ladies' church group tomorrow evening. (Hopefully, when it is over I'll be able to work on the house a little more.)
What is something you accomplished yesterday? (Either grand or small.)
The mirrors look gorgeous! Haven't done any projects today and feeling anxious. At least, I got the grocery shopping done...
ReplyDeleteGrocery shopping can end up being an event in itself.
DeleteLove the mirrors! Nothing terribly exciting happening around here...putting the finishing touches on my daughters bedroom, however, she won't let me take pics until she cleans it up! Have a great evening! Much love, Lisa
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your daughter's room.
DeleteLove the mirrors and the chandelier! Nothing yesterday or today but over the weekend I did two room makeovers...I was pooped!

I found the mirrors at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Garden Ridge, Kohl's, Home Depot and Goodwill. (Most of them were half off--I love a good deal and I'm slightly obsessed with fancy mirrors.)
DeleteI'm stopping by from The Frugal Girls, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the mirrors that you chose, what finds!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Taryn!
